Healthy granola recipe

 

        SOUR CHERRY GRANOLA

        BREAKFAST.

     












2000 g Slow Oats


15 g Cinnamon


 900 g Whole Almonds, Chopped roughly, (still quite large pieces)


 50 g Avocado Oil


 500 g Honey


 750 g Dried Cherries


 5 ml Vanilla Extract, Natural!




DIRECTIONS.


In a large bowl, stir together the oats, cinnamon and the almonds.


In a pot, heat together the oil, honey and the vanilla until liquid. Stir the honey mixture into the oat mixture and toss the granola BY HAND until it is combined well.


Spread the granola evenly into a 4" hotel pans for roasting. Bake at 350F stirring every 5-10 minutes until golden brown, approx. 30-40 minutes. While still hot add in the dried cherries and "squeeze" handfuls together to encourage clustering. Cool.


DO NOT BAKE THE CHERRIES
